Recommendation Guide

Which Cryptocurrency Should You Use?

Each supported coin has different characteristics. Your best choice depends on whether you prioritize speed, low fees, price stability, or decentralization.

USDT (Tether)

Under 1 minute (TRC-20)Fee: ~$1.00Volatility: None (pegged to USD)

Best overall choice. No price volatility means you pay exactly the listed price. TRC-20 network offers near-instant confirmation with low fees. Ideal for users who want crypto privacy without exchange rate risk.

Solana (SOL)

Under 5 secondsFee: <$0.01Volatility: High

Fastest and cheapest option if you already hold SOL. Sub-second finality and negligible fees make it ideal for frequent small purchases. However, SOL price fluctuates significantly — best to convert and send immediately.

Litecoin (LTC)

5-8 minutesFee: $0.01-$0.05Volatility: Moderate

The budget-friendly non-stablecoin option. Network fees are consistently under $0.05, and 2.5-minute block times mean faster confirmation than Bitcoin. Good middle ground between speed and decentralization.

Bitcoin (BTC)

10-30 minutesFee: $0.50-$3.00Volatility: High

The most widely held cryptocurrency with the deepest liquidity. Slower and more expensive than alternatives but universally accepted and trusted. Choose BTC if it is your primary holding and you value the network's security.

Ethereum (ETH)

3-5 minutesFee: $1.00-$5.00Volatility: High

Good for users with ETH holdings or DeFi wallet balances. Gas fees vary with network congestion — check current gas prices before transacting. Layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum may reduce fees in the future.

Wallet Guide

DeFi Wallet Integration

Use any self-custody wallet to pay for proxies. Here is how the four most popular wallets connect to our checkout.

MetaMask

Browser Extension / Mobile | Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum

Install MetaMask from metamask.io. At ResProxy checkout, select cryptocurrency payment. Copy the wallet address or scan the QR code. Open MetaMask, click Send, paste the address, enter the amount, and confirm. MetaMask signs the transaction locally — your private keys never leave your device.

Trust Wallet

Mobile (iOS / Android) | 65+ blockchains including BTC, ETH, SOL, TRC-20

Open Trust Wallet and navigate to the Send screen. Select the cryptocurrency matching your ResProxy invoice (e.g., USDT on TRC-20). Scan the QR code from checkout or paste the address manually. Confirm the transaction. Trust Wallet supports multi-chain sending, so ensure you select the correct network.

Coinbase Wallet

Browser Extension / Mobile | Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, Polygon

Coinbase Wallet (the self-custody wallet, not the Coinbase exchange app) lets you send crypto without the exchange acting as intermediary. Open the wallet, select Send, choose your currency, paste the ResProxy payment address, and confirm. Your keys remain on your device.

Phantom

Browser Extension / Mobile | Solana, Ethereum, Polygon

Phantom is optimized for Solana transactions. At checkout, select SOL or USDT (Solana network). Copy the payment address into Phantom's Send screen. Solana transactions confirm in under 5 seconds with fees under $0.01 — making Phantom one of the fastest payment options.

Deep Dive

Why Stablecoins Are the Smart Choice for Proxy Payments

The Volatility Problem

Paying for a $10 proxy plan with Bitcoin means the actual cost depends on when you bought the BTC. If Bitcoin dropped 5% between your purchase and payment, that $10 plan effectively cost you $10.50 in purchasing power. Over a year of monthly renewals, these micro-losses compound.

Stablecoins solve this entirely. USDT and USDC are pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. When you send 10 USDT, you pay exactly $10 — no more, no less. The exchange rate risk is zero, making budgeting predictable regardless of what the broader crypto market does.

Network Selection Matters

USDT exists on multiple blockchains: Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), Solana, and others. The same token behaves very differently depending on which network you use. ERC-20 USDT transactions cost $1-$5 in gas and take 3-5 minutes. TRC-20 USDT transactions cost about $1 and confirm in under a minute.

When our checkout generates a USDT payment address, it specifies the network. Sending USDT on the wrong network (e.g., ERC-20 to a TRC-20 address) can result in permanently lost funds. Always double-check that the network in your wallet matches the network on the invoice.

Acquiring Stablecoins

If you do not already hold USDT or USDC, the easiest path is to buy them on a centralized exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken) using a bank transfer or card. Then withdraw to your self-custody wallet for the proxy purchase. The total cost is the stablecoin amount plus the exchange's withdrawal fee — typically $1-$5 depending on the network. For users already in DeFi, swapping any token for USDT on a DEX like Uniswap or Jupiter takes seconds.

Cryptocurrency Payment FAQ

Which cryptocurrency has the lowest fees for proxy purchases?
Solana (SOL) has the lowest network fees — typically under $0.01 per transaction. Litecoin (LTC) is also very cheap at $0.01-$0.05. For a fee-free experience in USD terms, USDT on TRC-20 costs about $1.00 per transaction but has zero price volatility.
Can I pay with stablecoins like USDT or USDC?
Yes. We accept USDT (Tether) on both TRC-20 and ERC-20 networks, and USDC on ERC-20 and Solana. Stablecoins are pegged to the US dollar, so the amount you send matches the exact price shown at checkout with no volatility risk.
Is Lightning Network supported for Bitcoin payments?
Not yet. We currently process Bitcoin on the mainnet (Layer 1) with 1-2 confirmation requirements. Lightning Network support is planned for 2026. For near-instant crypto payments now, use USDT on TRC-20 or SOL on Solana.
Can I connect my MetaMask wallet directly?
We do not have a direct Web3 wallet connect integration yet. Instead, our checkout generates a payment address and QR code. You copy the address into MetaMask (or any wallet) and send manually. This approach works with every wallet and does not require dApp permissions.
What happens if I send crypto on the wrong network?
Sending tokens on the wrong network (e.g., USDT on ERC-20 when the invoice specifies TRC-20) may result in lost funds that we cannot recover. Always verify the network matches between your wallet and the invoice. If you make this mistake, contact support immediately — recovery may be possible in some cases.
How do I choose between BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, and LTC?
Use USDT if you want price stability. Use SOL for the fastest and cheapest transaction. Use LTC for low fees with a proven network. Use BTC if it is your primary holding. Use ETH if you have an Ethereum-based DeFi portfolio. Our recommendation guide above breaks down each option.
Can I pay with multiple cryptocurrencies in one order?
Each order uses a single cryptocurrency. However, you can fund your ResProxy account balance with different coins across multiple top-ups. For example, pay one month with BTC and the next with USDT.
Are crypto payments truly anonymous?
Crypto payments are pseudonymous. The blockchain records the transaction between wallet addresses, but those addresses are not inherently linked to your identity. ResProxy requires only an email address for account creation — no ID verification or banking details needed.

Ready to Pay With Cryptocurrency?

Five coins accepted. USDT for stability, SOL for speed, BTC for security. Pick your coin and your proxies activate after confirmation.
